“Music Academy Asheville an awesome studio to teach drums!  My studio is equipped with two drum sets, two sets of listening earphones, two practice pads, a guitar, and a metronome. I encourage my students to set up a foundation through sight-reading and rudimentary work that will correlate directly to their drum set playing. My main style of teaching leads more towards Classic Rock. I consider it a fun challenge to prepare students for all-county or all-district auditions, to prepare particular tunes for auditions for bands, or taking people who have a general interest in drum set playing to that next level. I also enjoy teaching advanced students!  My schedule usually stays full, but feel free to email me to get on a waiting list if there's no availabilities. Teaching drums is a really exciting and fulfilling way to share my gift and joy of playing with others!”
